An Interview with Ayşe Kulin: A Journey to the Past Through the Eyes of a Writer

TEDU Media Club organized an interview and signing day with the famous author Ayşe Kulin with the theme "Journey to the Past through the Eyes of an Author". On November 3, 2023, academic, administrative staff and students showed great interest in the event held at Ahmet Ersan Conference Hall. After the interview, which was attended by approximately 250 people, Ayşe Kulin signed the books of her readers in the K block foyer area where the "Women of the Republic" exhibition was held.
During the 100th Anniversary of the Republic themed talk, Ayşe Kulin expressed how happy she was to be on the campus of TED Ankara College, where she received her education. Sharing her memories of her childhood in Ankara and the perception of the Republic of that period, the famous author both informed her audience and made them spend an unforgettable day with her pleasant conversation.
Emphasizing the importance of women's contribution to society in her speech, Ayşe Kulin reminded especially female students how valuable they are for the Republic and the value of women's presence in business life for the development of a society.
