The Architecture and Design Society, which was founded in 2013 and is one of the most rooted communities of TED University, organizes workshops that make university students think in the fields of design and creativity, field-related activities such as material recognition and use, and activities aiming to bring together different perspectives. Its target audience is not only architecture students but also students of the Faculty of Architecture, as well as students from other departments, where they can participate and play an active role.
It brings the faculty students together with the Traditional Meeting Cocktail, which is held twice a year at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters each year and allows them to get to know each other better and to adapt to the concept of family within TED University. With the Talks event series, the Architecture and Design Society brings university students together with individuals involved in different design disciplines, enabling them to gain experiences that will affect both their undergraduate life and their intellectual life in the process after graduation. On the other hand, it has focused on important points that should come to the fore in university life, such as gaining different perspectives and discovering creative talents with both collective and individual participation, with workshops that every university student can attend. aims. Thanks to the formation of AnkaraAks, of which it is a part of, the society raises awareness among its members who are also seeking solutions to the problems of the city in which it is located, through the interviews, workshops, and trips it organizes in the field of urban memory.
